it appears that I won't be living in an apartment anymore. I'll be living in a townhouse shared with a family of three. I'm feeling neutral about this, although perhaps after seeing the house and subsequently the family, my feelings will change (towards either end of the spectrum). I'm bored. Anywayz, I'm going to go visit the house soon, since my dad just called the family right now.
It's sad, but I think I shall miss my house =( just like I miss my kittie.
Peace out, home for 3 yrs...

weird
my sleeping habits are weird now. from last post, I just woke up randomly at 5 pm yesterday. Today, after going to sleep at about 11 pm or so, I find myself unable to sleep and thus proceeded to wake up at about 2 am to read HP and subsequently see light dawning at 6 am and thus get back for breakfast. naturally my grandmother was already awake so it was no big deal to turn on the tv and the laptop to make some noise. lolz. yes I'm just developing this stupid and strange sleeping habit and it's quite annoying. looking up at my ceiling in the dead of the night when there's no sound and no light is very very annoying, if I do say so myself. at least there werent any mosquitos, because in china, if I'm awake at night (which I was for the first two days or so because of yes, jetlag) I could hear the bugs around me, buzzing incessantly. That was more annoying. but it all adds up to make me more grumpy in the morning... and today caused me to randomly make baked fries... yes, something is very off now.
anywayz, I'll see if it lets up in the end. hopefully before next week.

Jetlag
this is actually funny. I slept last night at 12, after talking to dad for like a million hours (mostly complaining about the state of greyness associated with Beijing's sky). But then I read a bit of HP, meaning that I actually went to sleep around 2 am. The next thing I know, my sluggy half-asleep body woke at 12 noon. I barely glanced at the clock, I know, because I fell right back to sleep. And there, I woke up at 4 pm and refusing to get up at that time, slept another hour. Thus, my final tally for today's wakeup time is 5 pm.
I mean, jetlag shouldnt have continued to now... it's thursday today so it's been four days. And yesterday I woke up at 7 am. -_- Something's wrong with my sleeping pattern. It's defying laws of logic. >.> oh wells, hopefully I will get back to a more normal routine before the week's over.
I did say that I will give my body one week to adjust.
We shall see.

Guns
today I was bored, like anything other day of the summer vacation, and I decided to watch some of the movies I had that I haven't had time to watch before. The first movie I watched was Bowling for Columbine - it's about guns and is slightly based on the columbine shooting. the clearest memory is that there are about 11 000 ppl who die from gun shots in USA every year, while in Canada there's 168 and UK 68 (numbers are a lil off but not by much) ... the cultures of most of the western world is about the same - they all have access to violent video games, heavy metal music, violent political backgrounds... but why is America so especially violent? The movie explains with a clip from South Park - which is hilarious "I luuuuv my gun" ...so in conclusion, I guess americans should stop being so crazy about their guns (many places make it law for all citizens to own a gun) ... without the means for violence, surely violence will decrease. "If a bullet cost $5,000, then people would think twice before killing others. - I'm gonna blow your fucking head off... if I had some money. I'm gonna get another job, save some money, then you're dead!"
Lolz, I luv comedians.
