YAY, 2007 is over!!! (skewl-wise)
Finally, well technically it isn't yet, I still have to get a teacher's email to do reference letter for that waterloo skewl - only one where I need a reference letter for application... that's just depressing... and I think I've discouraged someone from applying to 'loo because of the need for ref letters, lolz.
I wonder if I should go to the holiday assembly or not... like I wonder if I have enough time to go home and pack up before 5...
o, did I mention: I'm going to Toronto at 5 pm today!!!
*ecstatic*
It's time for the holiday vacation to begin... lotta shopping (albeit lotta work too)
Merry Christmas !!!!!!

Day of Semi-Relaxation
I got yelled at for being home at 9:30 pm but I still wholly enjoyed my day/evening =) ... but I mean, c'mon - 9:30 pm is HARDLY late -__- at 11 I can understand... it would take me 30 mins to get home from a closing library (if I was there) anyways... geez. I'm never gonna have kids XD
In any case, cuz I was feeling stressed and bored and whatever else is on my plate (psyche mostly) I decided to go with a friend to Rideau mall till 6 pm (having stayed in school till 4 to do some work, so it was productive).
We ate some food - NY fries for me lolz =) yuuum... I spend like $10 today (on the poutine and a yogurt from yogen fruit ... NEVER do kiwi + wuzever that berry was... not kewl) but I'm totally cool with it =) the company was great and the atmosphere was fab =D I <3 it
Then I got coaxed into going to the Chess Club at Ottawa U... it was strangely great. There wasn't any excitement or anything... but the company - all uni guys (with a lot to say =P) were AWESOME. It feels good to be with them - like any kind of stress disappears and such... there's a strange sort of serenity - and as Linda described it - they are like an older brother's best friend type of people
<3 it.
I'll be going to Chess every wednesday from now on... a weekly dose of fun comfort in the middle of boredom and stress from hell known as school.
now I go do my poli assignment
cheerioz XD

Review - prompted by tomorrow
So I got my report card 2 days ago... it was weird. I got this mark in stats and I don't know how the teacher came up with ... I mean we haven't gotten any of the 4 tests back yet... and from ppl who have taken her course before, iz unlikely that I'll see them again lolz
and apparently at the end, my mark is gonna plummet like hell. but whatever.
Business, I'm happy with... I'll cut my losses (cuz the last test was just EVIL - so much red on the scantron MC sheet -__-) ... and I'll kick ass what can I say =P
Politics...
well, I'll just enjoy it like I already do =) my marks shall suffer, but whatever, at least I shall retain this information for years to come... not like MATH hahaha
yes I'll expand on that ...
Math Learning of Me: I learn everything really fast - usually I get it in an instant or two... the concepts goes in and I get it... and I can apply it and life is great.
But then immediately after I have been submersed in math (aka finished exams, aka summer vacation, aka life) every inkling of mathematical understanding learned just escapes and dies on me =( ... I can't even find derivatives any more... the simplest thing, I know =P altho some REALLY basic things I still remember... but yawr... definitely don't remember how to do conic sections... or ANY calculus - the thing that I got a RLLY low mark in... oh well, I give up on that. (NOT going to do that new math course -__- just so I can make more pain for myself? I don't think so buddy) so the conclusion is that I remember nothing from anything I "learned" in any of the math classes... thus I am thinking twice of Waterloo (aka double degree w/ math) ... because... it's not like I'm gonna do something seriously math-related that I need a goddamn degree for it... altho it is more challenging.
decisions decisions...
("tomorrow" = last day to drop a course before full disclosure) ... that's what instigated all this, I know, strange eh XD

I hate being wrong.
I got like 5 questions out of 20 for the multiple choice on the test... I hate being wrong. I really, really, really do.
